*Israel is one of very few countries that has proven
fully-independent space capabilities. This talk will review the challenges
that the space environment poses, as well as the difficulties, losses and
success stories we had on the way to space. While reviewing past, present
and future space missions lead by the Israel Aerospace Industries, we will
scan through a portfolio of selected observation, communication & research
satellites. This talk will emphasize the security value that Israel's space
missions provide, as well as the economic & educational impact they have on
environment & society, for Israel and the world. *
