[etni] Question about the use of the Hatama - milonit

Does anyone know the official ruling on this?
I teach 8th grade (kita het) Hakbetza Aleph. Two of my students have the
Hatama of using a milonit. Does this mean that the students use a milonit
during a routine quiz, and/or test? Or do they only use it during an unseen
when the rest of the class uses the regular Oxford dictionary? (It seems silly
to let them use it during a regular test or quiz since they are supposed to
know the vocabulary on these tests, otherwise what are they doing in Hakbetza
Aleph?) I get conflicting answers from the teachers in different schools and
the guidance counselors in each one.
