**** ETNI on the web http://www.etni.org.il http://www.etni.org **** Dear Judy, I have read and re-read the NBA Handbook for the answer to this question, but have not found it: Assume a student takes Module C or E in the summer of the 11th grade to "test the waters" (i.e., to decide to go for the harder or easier Modules in the 12th grade). The plan is to take the Oral Exam during the 12th grade, along with the highest module. If the student does well in the 11th grade and goes on to take the higher modules, he/she will take the Oral Exam during the semester of the highest module. (From what I've read on ETNI, this is OK.) Now assume that the student does poorly on the module in the 11th grade and decides to take the lower modules in the 12th grade. In this case, the student does NOT take the Oral Exam during the semester he/she takes the highest module. (From what I've read on ETNI, this is NOT OK.) What is the solution to this problem? Should the marginal students take the Oral Exam twice? Is this possible? Or doesn't it matter when the student takes the Oral Exam? Many thanks.
