Rafi is right. The article does not help our cause. The inaccuracies, which are
a result of sloppy journalism rather
than the fault of those interviewed, are abundant. I am sure
that Nina had many more important and relevant things to say
than the quote that was used. (BTW, way to go, Nina for having
the guts to stand up and be named in the article.)
To place the financial issue as the first item in the article
is to make us seem like money-grabbers and will turn everyone
against us. There is a very good talkback response from a
Leora from Raanana who points out what our struggle is really
about. However, how many people will actually bother to read
that? We have to be very careful from now on with our dealings
with the press who can easily distort the truth.
