At one point, he talks about educators at dinner parties...when and if they
are ever invited to such events... and how faces pale on hearing of their
profession.
This week, my "activism" took me to court where I had to give testimony for
another activist. The judge seemed truly interested in who was sitting in
his court room and wanted to know my profession and even questioned me with
interest about my work once I'd finished giving testimony. He said that
being a teacher was a much better position than being a lawyer! Cool judge,
indeed!
