In fact, you don't even need to read the whole book.  If you need to weed
out books that you feel are inappropriate, a quick internet search for each
title should give you the information that you need.  If you search for
"Goldfinger" in Google, for example, the very first link has a summary of
the story (the movie) and the names of the characters.  The "offensive"
character name is listed right there.  I'm pretty certain that you can find
a similar summary of every book that you order that way.  Is it a lot of
work?  Well, yes, but it's certainly not something that you can expect UPP
or any other publisher to do for you!
