Hello Everyone..
I thank all of you in advance for your help with the following grammar
questions.
1) What is correct, "The rest of the family is sleeping" or "The rest of the
family are sleeping" ?
2) Can we say, "I have been in Spain for a week and I've watched the
football game between X and Y" ?
3) Is this a correct use of the present perfect? "He has bought the
newspaper this morning. Now he is calling about the ads that interest him."
In the last two questions, I find it hard to decide whether the present
perfect is correct. I hope you can help me.
