Hello..
Is "has had" in the following sentence correct?
Whenever people talk about art, they will certainly mention the great
influence Picasso has had on modern art.
My colleague says yes and I say no because Picasso had his influence before
he died. Or maybe this is true if we want to use "influence" as a verb, so
"Picasso influenced modern art, and not has influenced..", right?
