ETAI: Keeping in Touch
Newsletter 25: November, 2009

Dear Readers,
A very quick newsletter this time, and a bit late: I've been doing a lot of
travelling over the last two weeks. I attended two weekend conferences one
after the other: one, at the end of October, in Thessaloniki, northern
Greece; the second the first week in November in Paris. These were
enjoyable, if tiring, events, and I hope I’ve persuaded a few people to come
here for our International Conference in July.

And back home. News of ETAI: it’s a relatively quiet period, with no
mini-conferences in the coming month (though several are planned for the
first three months of 2010). And the first issue of this year’s ETAI Forum
is due to come out shortly, with lots to read and enjoy!

But the main event we’re looking forward to at the moment is the Beer Sheva
Conference on December 13th at Ben Gurion University. Hope to see many of
you there, particularly those from the south and centre of the country: but
also some who, like me, have to travel a long way down there from the north.
ETAI will be providing a round trip bus from Ra'anana and Tel Aviv to the
conference. Payment needs to be made in advance by credit card. If you're
interested, please call Marna at the ETAI office (02-500-1844).

Many of you have already checked out our new Website, with a fresher look
and an independent ‘Etai’ address (www.etai.org.il). Thanks to Ann
Shlapobersky and Micki Zaritsky for their constant work on this! You’ll
find details on the website not only of the Beer Sheva Conference, but also
of the International Conference. Keep checking it, as we are constantly
updating, adding details of speakers and events.

Lastly, I want to remind you that we are currently offering a special low
price on renewing memberships, from now until December 13th (see our website
for the price), and you can use your credit card to pay.

Best wishes
Penny Ur
ETAI Chair
