Dear Etnians,
Siah vaSig: the Israel Debating Society has, for the last eight years, held
a very successful Summer Debating Workshop in English in Jerusalem and
Aleh Lod High School for Sciences (for the Central area) with specialist
coaches from the English-Speaking Union in London. This year we have a very
serious situation in as much as we have still not been able to obtain premises
for this year's workshop in Jerusalem. We expect some 60 students and we
require about six classrooms and a large room from 4-9 July from 8.30 a.m. to
4.00 p.m. each day ( to 1.00 p.m. on Friday).
If any school in Jerusalem is able to help us by providing these facilities,
please contact Asher Weill urgently at 02 6432147 or 054 4956481 as
soon as possible.
