Dear Etniers, Does anyone know of a diagnostic test [mivhan miyun] for new immigrant teenagers (non-English speakers) entering the Israeli state school system? This would have to be 1. All in English (in case their Hebrew is poor) - or failing that, with a rubric in simple Hebrew. 2. Supplied with a grading scheme so that we have some idea of a suitable class in our local high school. 3. Graded or sequenced so that very weak students would be able to answer a few questions and very strong ones cope with questions at upper levels. Hope this is not too much to ask for. Thanks in advance. Joe Barnett
