[etni] Beware of friends bearing gifts (viruses)

Hi all,

There appears to be a new virus making its way through the Internet,
which sends a message to your email - with only one line, containing a
link.

This message comes from someone you know and the subject line usually
reads something like:

re: (the person's name)

Evidently, it infects someone's email account and sends this message
out to people listed in "contacts". A number of such messages have
been trying to go through to the ETNI list, but have been squelched by
me.

When you receive such a message, delete it right away. Do not click on
the link. Also, check your email account (sent messages, etc.) to make
sure that you haven't been infected.

And let's be careful out there.
