The A exam is the most difficult of the 3 point one, even if the vocabulary may be the easiest. There is just too much for the kids to handle, even though the second listening was taken off. Many of the weak students have general problems organizing their time, so dealing with two unseens and a listening which requires pre-preparation are more than many can handle. Compare it to the E exam for the 4 and 5 point students, in which there is only one unseen and one listening. And the B' composition rubrics for those doing the "mutam," "reduced test." Too high a percentage of points are for "grammar," even if you don't call it grammar. The majority of points should be for content and organization. Getting prepositions correct are hard enough for the advanced students.
