**** ETNI on the web http://www.etni.org.il http://www.etni.org **** I would like to second the opinions expressed by Judi Aloni regarding the changes in instructions for dictionary use. It is not fair to expect students to have to acquire a different dictionary if they do A in yud aleph and B and C in yud bet. Specially at this time when finances are tight everywhere. Perhaps the directive could be amended for the first round of students doing the new format in 2003/4 so that they will be able to use the dictionaries they have already bought. From now on we can instruct all pupils to buy the English-English Hebrew (from 10th grade this year.) The question of gmulim is also an issue, as many teachers will put pupils in for Module A this year but may not necessarily continue with the class next year (for whatever reason - Shabbaton, changes in school scheduling etc) . So there has to be a solution for the current school year. Who is dealing with the problem?
