I have taught the play, The Trifles by Susan Glaspell to the 4 point
students and unfortunately wasn't given permission to use it in a five point
class. However, I really think that although the play is short it is
relevant and deals with important issues which could suit a 5 point class.
For those of you who haven't yet read it, I really recommend. There is also
a lot of material on the net and the themes relate to current issues here
and abroad.
I really recommend it. It can be found in one of the Kieran collections -
the orange book.
