Hallo,
hier folgt eine kurzer Tipp an alle, die sich beruflich oder privat mit
dem Thema "System-/Netzwerkmanagement" befassen: nehmt Euch mal die Zeit
und werft einen Blick auf OpenNMS (siehe auch http://www.opennms.org).
Darüberhinaus folgt hier schonmal ein bisschen Werbung für eine mehr als
interessante Veranstaltung im kommenden März: die "OpenNMS User
Conference Europe 2009". Ich werde hinfahren - vielleicht haben hier ja
auch noch mehr Interesse?

OpenNMS User Conference Europe 2009
March 14th, 2009, Frankfurt am Main, Germany
The OpenNMS User Conference Europe 2009 is a "first" in many respects.
It's the first meeting purely aimed at the user community. It's the
first OpenNMS Project Event in Europe. It's the first time we combine
a marvelous training session with real-life show cases and the
unbelievably unique opportunity to have a drink with the people behind
the scenes :-)

March 13th, 2009
* Arrival and time to chat around a drink
March 14th, 2009
* 0900 - 1230 Training session
* 1230 - 1330 Lunch
* 1330 - 1700 Howto's and show cases (presentations)
* 1700 - 1730 About the future of OpenNMS
Showcases
As we are absolutely not sure about how many people will join (20?
200?) we did not settle the presentation part yet. Depending the on
the number of participants we'll organize one or two tracks. The
opinion and interest of the participants does matter a lot as well -
that's why we give you the opportunity to pre-register and tell us
what you'd like to see.

The conference will be organized by the OpenNMS Project, OpenNMS Inc.
and Nethinks, a german IT services company.
