New orders: n/a Other issues: little to no residuals, elimination good, ongoing A/B/D mostly self-resolved Enzo had a very good day today and is showing slow but steady improvement. Tracy was Enzo’s nurse overnight. She’s known him since he was born! They had a great time catching up over feedings and “cares”. Enzo nippled well and was at 21% FiO2 except when Tracy bumped him up to 23% during meals. Mike (who also has been with little Enzo since the beginning) was there to make sure that everything was just as it should be. Enzo had no bradies at all and only occasional desats when moving, pooping, or feeding. Tracy also remarked that Enzo managed to pee on her during one of his diaper changes. Man, does he have good aim! James was back this morning as Enzo’s nurse. We’ve had a lot of fun getting to know him since he’s returned from being out with a broken arm. He’s completely unflappable and totally supportive. The upshot of the day shift is that Enzo is eating well from bottle, but needs help with pacing to get in rhythm. He was particularly hungry for supper and finished his 5 p.m. bottle in 25 minutes flat. P. S. For those of you just joining us, welcome!
