The successful > pilot gathering in B.C., > called Making Waves, was held in August 2004 and > brought together 30 youth and > over 13 environmental and social justice > organizations. The gatherings are a > key component of the CYAP and aim to increase > understanding of environmetnal and > social justice issues, offer trainings on the skills > necessary to take action on > these issues, and build a connected network of > empowered youth.
