Social Fundraiser
On Friday March 28, 10pm
at Venue Nightclub (180 Pearl St)
Tickets are being sold in advance
for only $5.00
Refreshments will be $4.00
and there will be door prizes.
What is the goal we wish to achieve by holding this event?
This event is meant to raise awareness of environmental issues in a social atmosphere. As well, a portion of the proceeds from this event will go toward Evergreen, a non-profit environmental organization with a mandate to bring nature to the cities through naturalization projects. This group motivates people to create and sustain healthy, natural outdoor spaces and gives them the practical tools to be successful through it three core programs, learning grounds, home grounds and common grounds. This group operates from two offices in Toronto and Vancouver and has won many awards in recognition of their environmental work. Please see www.evergreen.ca/ for more information.
