Because indeed, gtkspell looks like the only package (besides gtk+3) that emelfm2 depends directly on which in turn has a direct dependency to gtk+2.. Anyway, trying to remove some of the dependencies over time. Couldn't manage to downgrade back down to 0.7.5 so I have to be dedicated to making this work now!
