I stopped by the lake at Owen Park this morning and the pair of Greater
White-fronted Geese were in the lower pond with a flock of Canada Geese.
The short walk to the sawmill did not produce any Am. Pipits. However,
they were hanging out in the pasture where the cattle graze on the opposite
side of the field. The grass is very short there and I had good looks at
the very large flock of birds before they flushed into the higher grass
closer to the sawmill.
