Hi All
Seen at 12:30 and again at 4 PM in the company of Canada Geese. At the
earlier time there were also approximately 50 Black Vultures congregating
on the bridge and trees surrounding the pond.
At 4 I counted 42 Killdeer (I think more , because some were hidden from
view) along the bank and on the rocks on the west side of the pond. I also
watched a pair of Mallards displaying and copulating. Do they nest year
round here?
