Nice morning in Swannanoa before the wind and rain arrived! We had 9 folks
join for the monthly BRA walk at Owen Park. A single Cape May Warbler
amongst a large flock of Cedar Waxwings was an early find. An unfazed Great
Blue Heron posed on a small snag allowing us extremely close views as it
preened. In the Warren Wilson College farm fields we found good numbers of
Yellow-rumped Warblers, a sure sign that winter is coming!
Happy Fall Y'all,
Clifton
