Dear all, I hope I have the gist of things to intervene without being
involved. I use telescopic poles used by window cleaners and are cheap. Can
be bought at any hardware store.

I couldn’t find the order history for the one we got. Googling the words
“bicycle cell phone mount” will get you plenty of options, mostly in the
$15 range.  This one is a bit more but has some good features, looks very
adjustable.

We still rely mostly on a couple bamboo poles I cut from the roadside for
lifting the camera up to nests.  We have an extendable pole (look in the
painting department of the big box stores - that’s where you’ll find the
longest poles) but the bamboo is lighter and cheaper.
