Hi Amy,
Could you send out a calendar invite for the meetings once you are settled on a
recurring date? I don't currently have them showing up on my calendar and it
would be easy for me to schedule something over them.
Re: website domain name, although it's clunky I would vote for either losh.org
or loggerheadshrikeworkinggroup.org (note I added the 'shrike' to the last
one). It just needs to be unambiguous and easy to remember.
Loggerheadshrike.net could work, but folks may confuse the .net with .org or
.com and end up on the wrong site. Just my 2 cents.

Subject: [eloshwg] Reminder - Working Group meeting Tuesday, February 13th 12
CT/1ET
Hello everyone!
A reminder that we're back to our regularly scheduled monthly shrike meetings,
starting this month. Unless I hear a preference for something different, I'll
stick to the schedule we've had previously - the 2nd Tuesday of each month, at
12 Central / 1 Eastern time. The meeting link is:
https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86940553037
I will give a brief update of the species conservation planning meeting for
migrans that occurred in January and discuss next steps for the Working Group.
I'd like to focus on a review of our Group in the context of the questions and
considerations raised during the Road to Recovery meeting. I was not able to
attend, but I do have the questions they asked of groups in 'self assessment'.
I'd like to hear from those who did join that meeting as well.
Finally, I've been working to get the website transferred to a new domain.
Loggerheadshrike.org is still taken and not for sale at a reasonable price. So
we need options and consensus. Some suggestions: loggerheadshrike.net,
loggerheadshrikes.org (note the plural here vs our original) or
loggershrikeworkinggroup.org. Feel free to chime in with your ideas or to say
which you prefer.
I'd like to have a decision by the end of next week, so I can purchase the
domain and start to move the site over. It is currently created in SquareSpace
but the person who can help me is willing to move it to WordPress, which I at
least have some familiarity with and I think might be more commonly use. If
anyone is 'web savy' and wanted to help with this transition (or to become our
webmaster?) please let me know!
Thanks for your ongoing work for shrike. I look forward to our meeting next
week!
Amy
