The EGR can be unplugged and a tuner removes the codes, I would have
to put the DPF pipe back on if I took it back to the dealer, but I
don't foresee a lot of trips to the dealer - I'm not a fan of
dealership service departments.

The G56 manual transmission is a Mercedes transmission - I haven't
heard of any serious issues with that transmission. When you make
serious upgrades in power you have to upgrade the clutch.

An I6 with a turbo on one side and the intake on the other is simpler
than a V8 with a turbo.
