Gemstones, and jewelry metals. I have done this at other middle schools,
and also once at a Museum about creating custom jewelry. I host Girl Scout
troops and Brownies at the store every month for the same lecture, for their
jewelry badge. So there is no script any more. It's all out of my head (or
my ass as the case may be) but I have plenty of practice. Keeping the
attention of the young ones at the store is the hardest. These classes were
quiet as a mouse, and asked good questions.
