Got some heads for free for the Monte. I'll have them freshened up at the
machine shop. He told me to "get them out of his garage". He is a big block
guy. His 67 Camaro is getting paint at the moment. He had an 86 Monte before
that, also with a Big Block. I ran in to him at our party. He also has a
700R4, but I haven't checked it out yet. He thought it was an 86. I have
read that you want 87 or newer.
Casting numbers on the heads are 462864. They came off a 4 bolt main 350
just like the one in the Monte. He thought they were 1.94 heads. I am about
to check the numbers now.
