Sounds good to me, book groups are all about finding new books and authors. As you say, we'll probably all be reading the latest of the major authors anyway, and can discuss them when we read them too.

Just a quick thought about choosing which books we should discuss. I think it might be a lot more interesting if we chose authors who are not so well known. It would be easy to choose the latest from a famous author, but you know what you are getting with most writers. If we choose someone we have not read before, then we all might discover some good new writers. What do you all think? David
