It could take an hour to download a simple "joke" video, and then someone
would telephone you, internet would disconnect and you would have to
download the file from the beginning 👿💀👹

Long time ago we used to call that kind of files expensive files.

During dial up internet it was charged $$$ by the time you spent online,
not download speed. If the file was large you spent a lot of time online
downloading it and you had to pay more.

If any of you needs to take a map at any stage (say after playing France,
but before your own moves) you can do this by going to "Edit" then "Save
Board Image in file". It saves as bitmap which is a heavy file and not
needed for a map, but you can change the save to png or jpg or anything you
want afterwards
