*Welcome to the 8th Annual ED Games Expo
<https://ies.ed.gov/sbir/2021EdGamesExpo.asp>, an all-virtual event from
June 1 to 5, 2021. The Expo showcases game-changing innovations in
education technology (EdTech) that were developed through programs at ED
and across government.* During the Expo and month of June, educators and
students can demo more than 150 education learning game or technologies at
no cost. This year the Expo also will present 35 online events across the
week featuring an array of government-led EdTech initiatives and projects.
Each event is designed for specific audiences that use or are interested in
EdTech, including educators, students, parents and caregivers, developers,
researchers, and stakeholders across the ecosystem.
Key Information to Participate in the ED Games Expo Online
- *Format:* All-Virtual; An internet connection and a computer, tablet,
or device are needed to participate.
- Content and Events Presented at the 2021 ED Games Expo:
- The *ED Games Expo Agenda* (download the PDF here
<https://ies.ed.gov/sbir/pdf/AgendaEDGamesExpo.pdf>) presents the
schedule and information on how to access 35 online events
occurring across
the week of June 1 to 5, 2021.
- A set of *ED Games Expo YouTube Playlists* & a *PDF Guide* will
present videos and information on more than 150 education learning games
and technologies that will be available for educators and
students to demo
online at no cost during the Expo and the month of June. [NOTE: Links to
the YouTube Playlists and the Guide will be posted here on June 1.]
- *Who Can Participate:* The Expo is free and open to the public.
- *Registration:* There is no sign-up or registration for the ED Games
Expo across the whole week. Individual events hosted by ED during the week
of the Expo will be presented on YouTube and will not require any
registration. Some of the individual events hosted by government agencies
outside of ED will require a registration to watch. For information on
