I am very familiar with the Shodor activities and I feel they are terrific, although I do not create my own. My students also enjoy the interactive activities from the National Library of Virtual Manipulatives for Interactive Mathematics, <A HREF="http://matti.usu.edu/nlvm/nav/index.html";>http://matti.usu.edu/nlvm/na v/index.html, and NCTM Illuminations, <A HREF="http://illuminations.nctm.org/";>http://illuminations.nctm.org/. I do enjoy creating my own Virtual fieldtrips and WebQuests. TeacherWeb.com, <A HREF="http://www.teacherweb.com/";>http://www.teacherweb.com/, allows teachers to develop WebQuests and publish them for free. Each year my algebra students participate in the collaborative and interdisciplinary Human Genetics Project, <A HREF="http://www.k12science.org/curriculum/genproj/index.html";> http://www.k12science.org/curriculum/genproj/index.html, online. It is a great experience for them. A couple of other terrific Listserves that I enjoy getting ideas from are The Classroom Flyer by Riverdeep, <A HREF="http://pages.info.riverdeep.net/riverdeep/ed/ClassroomFlyerSignup.atl"; > http://pages.info.riverdeep.net/riverdeep/ed/ClassroomFlyerSignup.atl, and G. Innovative Teaching Newsletter, <A HREF="http://surfaquarium.com/newsletter/currmap.htm";> http://surfaquarium.com/newsletter/currmap.htm, by Walter McKenzie. Technology in the mathematics classroom is something I feel very strongly about. In fact, I have just prepared a 10 page list of some of my favorite sites and ideas for Integrating Technology into the Classroom that I will be presenting to teachers new to our county at the new teacher orientation this Thursday.
