We do screenings every 2-3 months using the DIAL. Families bring the kids
in and they go to the different stations. Parents are interviewed to gather
their family at risk factors and if they meet a certain number of points
they qualify to come into school.
I'd be interested to know your team's thought processes on why it may need
to change due to the pandemic. I hadn't taken that into consideration.
I had been thinking about how the pandemic impacts children's scores on the
cognitive portion of our play-based assessments (we use the DAYC).
