I think in this case IDE would be better.
FYI: I don't like the losers and winners "theme". I'm anti competition
because there is only one winner who gets it all. That is not a nice way
to handle people.
So for me the discussion on the name is still not closed. It is just not
burning at this time and I hope some magical solution will appear.
The best "public" description for me is the "Arduino Eclipse IDE"
(notice the capitalisation ;-) ) whether that needs to be the name ... I
don't think so.
"Arduino Eclipse Plugin" is the historical name. For instance the
#ArduinoEclipsePlugin twitter tag. It is still a very close description
and gets to be known.

that the images were free to be used for open source.
Also matt Baker send me the attached logo which I think should be
ok for both arduino and eclipse
