I just received a warning from Neighbourhood Watch: there is an increase in
thefts of car registration number plates. Criminals use them e.g. to
'disguise' vehicles used in crimes or to avoid paying for fuel at filling
stations.
It is advised that we secure our number plates with anti-theft screws. If
you need any, you can call Roger Stevenson on 274 5421 - they are free of
charge. You can fit them yourself or take your car to TM Automotive (at 2
Archer Road) to get them fitted. Do mention Neighbourhood Watch if you go
to the garage (not sure from message whether it's a free service or costs
less).
