Hi all,
A big thank-you to everybody who came out to sweep, shovel, drag and tip...
and shift those piles of leaves back into the park, where they came from!
That was the largest number of volunteers we've ever had - the lovely
weather did help, plus the fact that it was a great opportunity to get out,
see each other and have a chat... Of course it was *not* a social
gathering, but strictly a working party!!! but fun was had nevertheless! 😄
And as there are still a fair few leaves on the big trees, there might well
be another working opportunity coming up (weather permitting). As the
weather is getting colder, we might even, quite coincidentally, find a
bucket of Glühwein somewhere...
In fact, I think we definitely should have an ECCO meeting to discuss other
community work, such as socially distanced carol singing...
I'm quite happy to set up/host a Zoom meeting for that purpose.
