Sadly, hot weather seems to bring out all sorts of hooliganism... no, I
don't mean hedge cutting and lawn mowing!
The 'mindless racing' on Ecclesall Road and Brocco Bank (and presumably
Endcliffe Vale Road?) seems to be getting worse. Recently we've been
hearing the engine noise more and more often, at any time of day or night.
Today it's been particularly bad.
Not being a 'motor fan', I wouldn't be able to say whether it's motorbike,
quad bike, or cars that have been modified to sound like a cheap moped
whilst going at 5x the speed... What with streets not being as busy as they
used to be, there is of course more opportunity for speeding, and apart
from the noise pollution this is also a risk for other road users and
pedestrians.
Has anyone seen the vehicle(s) so that they could be reported via 101?
