I am fed up...... mostly with our incompetent government, but fed up
generally
On Monday we can all go and SHOP!!! in Debenhams and John Lewis to
mention a few
BUT we cannot see our Granddaughter in our own house -
but we could always meet up in John Lewis.......
MADNESS I have a suggestion
Instead of rushing off to the shops on Monday why don't we meet up ?
I am missing face to face conversation in my Community
I am missing you
Perhaps we could all take a chair and a flask on Monday up to where we
have the street parties and see each other (at a safe distance of
course) for a catch up?
I reckon this would be much better for my mental health than going
shopping!!!!!! anyone is welcome to come and join Gordon and myself -
so long as it not chucking it down from 10.30 onwards
What I need is conversation not the chance to go buying stuff - I have
worn the same 4 tops and 3 pairs of jeans in rotation for the last 10
weeks mostly and only put lipstick on a couple of times and guess what?
no one has noticed - not me not Gordon not the few friends we have
seen................ no one
Yesterday we watched again the film 'Martian' would highly recommend it
as ideal lockdown material, an astronaut is stranded on Mars for years
on his own- but he never gives up........ watch it if you can it is
fantastic. Sorry about the long email hope to see some of you on Monday
