The 10pm curfew. Simultaneously pointless in terms of combating Covid-19 (in
fact probably counterproductive) and hugely damaging to the hospitality
industry. How businesses are supposed to survive reduced covers and now fewer
hours I do not know.
I fear that Ecclesall Road will look very different in 12 months time.

department to handle and I have chased them up.

Dear Kahlid I hope you are well and coping in these unusual times.
I have been passed your details by Roy who is dealing with a planning
application for Nonnas 20/02633/FUL.
In the objections many people raise the issue of the original Pointing Dog (now
Lost And Found) application and ruling over the emptying of bins and such like
recycling.
Every week the bins and recycling waste going from the site happens between the
times of 5.50am and 6.15am.
This goes on from when they arrive with the noise from the vehicles and the
crashing of bottles and waste. You can imagine very loud.
This has gone on for many months and I have brought up with the management to
no avail.
This is also in the license for the facility.
Annex 2 – Conditions consistent with the operating schedule.
3. There will be no movements, sorting or removal of waste bottles, material or
other articles nor movement of skips or bins outside the building between 22.00
and 08.30 hours Monday – Saturday and 22.00 and 09.00 hours on Sunday’s Bank
Holidays. No deliveries to the building will be carried out between these hours.
4. There will be no collection of glass/ bottles/ skips and refuse bins/skips
by collection contractors between 22.00 and 08.30 hours Monday to Saturday and
22.00 to 9.00 hours on Sunday’s and Bank Holidays.
Also in the license 5. No intoxicating liquor shall be sold or supplied
otherwise to the following persons.
Basically it is for members and guests, well they do not operate members
anymore and do not take names or sign in it’s a free for all.
Richard Law was one of the owners previously who got the license and it was
adhered to then its only since the new owners have taken it over that all these
rules are ignored.
Noise levels at late evening are one thing however been kept awake then woken
early with the bins has become a night mare.
The membership scheme would be an ideal process with the pandemic with track
and trace but gangs of people now just turn up and park illegally which again
causes a lot of issues for residents.
Please could I ask you to look into the items I mention.

So I hope this is of help to all in objecting to this application.
Another point for me is that Nonnas, Lost and Found and Monk Bar have not
operated the track and trace and never take clients details unlike the Beer
House, Porter Brook and other pubs and restaurants. The issue last Saturday was
drug related at the Monk which was two dealers.
We need to stop this late night opening and culture that is been allowed to
happen including Nonnas having foreign nationals meeting , illegal parking an
even drinking on the pavement in groups.
