   Parents' Jury open for applications

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Parents' Jury <http://sustainweb.us9.list-manage.com/track/click?u=778414e745d27e5aebf965e24&id=fdbc536ba3&e=0f488e3445>We’re excited to announce that our Parents’ Jury <http://sustainweb.us9.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=778414e745d27e5aebf965e24&id=7b7c6429a5&e=0f488e3445> is now live.

The *Parents’ Jury *is our new initiative aimed at giving parents a stronger voice on the food available and promoted in their children’s schools, in shops, on the high street, and beyond. And it is kicking off by asking questions about sports sponsorship, including Cadbury’s partnership with the Premier League, ahead of the new football season.

We want to recruit a broad mix of parents, from different backgrounds and areas, and with a range of views and experiences.

So ... we'd love it if you promoted the Parents' Jury <http://sustainweb.us9.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=778414e745d27e5aebf965e24&id=415b040d4f&e=0f488e3445> on social media and through any relevant networks you are part of. We've included some suggested tweets/posts below, to get you started.

Of course, you can apply <http://sustainweb.us9.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=778414e745d27e5aebf965e24&id=48a89a6791&e=0f488e3445> yourself too. All that we ask is you do your bit to promote the Parents' Jury to others too. The wider we can spread our net the better.

*Who can apply to be on the Parents’ Jury?*

 * Any parent or carer of a child aged 2-17, living in the UK.
 * We’re looking for a broad spread of parents, from different
backgrounds and areas, and with a range of views and experiences.
 * Initially we hope to select up to 500 people to sit on the Jury.

*APPLY NOW <http://sustainweb.us9.list-manage.com/track/click?u=778414e745d27e5aebf965e24&id=e1084da130&e=0f488e3445>*

*What can I expect as a Parents’ Jury member?*

 * If successfully selected for the Jury, you will receive regular
surveys, as well as ad hoc opportunities to comment on topical news
   stories, adverts and policy announcements.
 * You will be encouraged to share examples of best – and worst –
products and marketing practices you have come across; as well as
rate business and government attempts to make healthy choices easier.
 * There’s no payment involved. But Parents’ Jury members may be
invited to special events hosted by Children’s Food Campaign, as
well as be eligible for future discounts on joining other Sustain
projects (e.g. London Food Link or Real Bread Campaign).

Children's Food Campaign will share the findings of Parents' Jury surveys and other activities with relevant Government departments, politicians, advertising regulators and industry bodies, as well as to the media, and use parents' voices to help push for healthier, more sustainable food and the policies which will support that.
