Don't leave your keys where they can be seen through a window or near a
door. Also, as we found out to our cost many years ago, don't leave your
jacket where it can be seen - a thief may be tempted by thinking your
wallet is in it.

Burglary Ranby Road

A burglary has been reported on Ranby Road, S11. Entry has been gained
overnight by using an implement to reach through the cat flap and steal
car keys left near to the door. 2 vehicles have then been stolen. Please
ensure nothing of value is left within reach of your doors.
PCSO's will be out today visiting addresses in the vicinity of this
crime to develop evidence and intelligence to assist in the
identification of the offender and to provide and raise awareness of
crime prevention techniques. You may have received a letter requesting
information if we missed you.
