I can empathise with this, Clare. I was asked to read one of the 9 Christmas
Lessons for my Children's School Carol Service. When the infants sang 2We
Will Rock You", all out of tune and almost shouting the chorus I started to
smile and suddenly found my eyes full of tears!

Alison, there isn't really much of a story about my crying over Charlotte
Grey, other than that this has been a one-off. I used to turn up my nose at
Away in a Manger at school, but as a parent the sound of small children's
voices singing it and other very simple music has had me in tears at several
school assemblies, when mine were among the singers. Clare
