David, I thought "The Ice Cream Girls" was going to be a film rather than a
TV serial. Must watch it. I haven't read that one, and must admit that,
from what I've heard about "The Ice Cream Girls" it isn't typical of her
other books, but of course, I can't say that with any conviction. I'm glad
I brought her to everyone's attention, though.

Hi all
Until Trish mentioned her the other day, I had not heard of Dorothy Koomson.
I made a note to look out for one of her books, and today a friend
recommended her to mee again. Then, this evening I am quietly watching tv
and a new thriller comes on called "The Ice Cream Girls" and it was
dramatized from the book by, yes, you've guessed it, Dorothy Koomson.
Anyway, if all her books are like the first part of the ice cream girls, I
will certainly be reading her before long.
That is one thing about lists such as ours, where we can recommend books to
each other. I'm not sure I would have noticed her had not Trish started
this off.
