The Magnificent Motors Car Show at the Western Lawns in Eastbourne is one
of our regular events which I’m sure many of you have previously attended,
and if you have n’t here’s your chance.
The day usually starts with a quick coffee (and more) at McDonalds
situated in Lottbridge Drove followed by a short run up to the marshaling
area at Fort Fun, then the cavalcade along the seafront to the display area
at the Wish Tower and Western Lawns.
Lunch will hopefully be at the ‘all-you-can-eat’ Cosmo Restaurant in
Seaside Road, a pleasant stroll, weather permitting, past the attractions
of the open air market on the Promenade.
The show is an all day event and the organisers would like us to stay for
as long as possible, but most drift off by about 4.00pm having enjoyed all
the attractions such as live music, beer tent or booze bus (Leyland
Routemaster?)
So please let me have details of your cars, TVR’s or other exotica, and
numbers for lunch please. (Please include your vehicle index (registration)
number)
We had the best attendance ever last year and saw some new faces as well,
it would be really good to see you all again.
