Good morning all,

Bloody work commitments will prevent me from partaking in this years Tonbridge
Lions tour on Sunday 16th July, also the same for the following week 23rd
National drive your TVR Day. !!

For the 16th July Tonbridge Classic Lions Tour I have already been given my
number and start time, I have contacted the organiser to say that I cannot
attend, he is more than happy for another TVR driver to take my place.
Last year was a fantastic day touring Kent, refreshments and lunch all
included, this has already been paid for I don't want anything back, just do
not want this going to waste.

Please let me know asap as Mike is doing all the paperwork now and needs to
know details.

Please reply with Car Type, registration number and names taking part (driver
and 1 passenger) also best email address to get hold of you.

I will forward this to Mike Edwards and he will contact you asap. FIRST COME
FIRST SERVED !!!!!

Hello Martin

Thank you for your entry to the Tonbridge Lions Classic Car Tour on Sunday 16th
July.

You will be Car Number 47 and your Start Time will be 10.17am.

Cars will be starting next to Tonbridge Castle from the Upper Castle Field Car
Park entrance in Bank Street. Access to Bank Street will be from Castle Street
at its Junction with Tonbridge High Street.
A marshal will be at the junction of Castle Street and the High Street to
direct you to the Car Park. A marshal will also be at the entrance of the Car
park to direct you to your parking place.

The Car Park will be open from 7.45am for coffee and biscuits and you are
requested to arrive by 8.45am so that final instructions can be given before
the start.

The Mayor of Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council Councillor Roger Dalton will
start the Tour.

At the start you will be given a 'goody bag' containing the following:-

Roadbook with maps.
Quiz
Feedback Form
Rally Plate and cable ties
Route Card
Pen
List of entries in starting order
Sponsors publicity leaflets.
Water

There will be a checkpoint during the morning section and a checkpoint during
the afternoon section.

Lunch will be at Barnsgate Manor, Herons Ghyll, Nr. Uckfield, East Sussex TN22
4DB and a Cream Tea will be provided at the finish.

This year the proceeds from the event are being given three Charities:-
'Chasing Connor's Cure', 'The Bridge Trust' and SUDC(Sudden Unexplained Death
in Children)
