Good morning all
I have for a long time thought we should have a ladies day out where our men
can drive us to an event that is not totally about cars! Sunday, 10 September
would normally be the East Kent meet, but Andrew is moving this to later in the
month as he is off to Goodwood for the weekend so when I saw this I thought we
could put the day to good use. With this thought, I have found:
Quex ParkPark LaneBirchingtonKent, CT7 0BHTel 01843 842168
www.quepark.co.uk
Among the usual attractions of beautiful gardens and grounds (which are free
entry on this date under Heritage Open Day)they are holding a Craft Fair from
10 am to 4.00 pm to raise money for the Kent Air Ambulance - entry is £2 pp.
They also have Mama Feelgoods Boutique Cafe which is open 10 am to 4.30 pm for
lunches or afternoon tea - the afternoon tea would need booking by calling
01843 482004.
As for the men, there is also a BBQ and beer tent for those who don't enjoy
shopping!
Please let me know if anyone is interested/think it is a good idea. We can
make our own individual reservations regarding afternoon tea etc.
Look forward to hearing from you.
