Hi All
Its that time again this Sunday at the White Horse.
Looking forward to seeing lots of happy faces great cars and sitting down and
breaking bread together.
We will have lots to discuss as there are lots of things coming up over the
next few months.
Firstly the NEC next month where you can finally get to see the new machine
that should be putting Grins on new TVR owners faces in the coming years.
So maybe a run up to Birmingham is on the cards.
It is so much better in the flesh I certainly fell in love at Goodwood and that
was not just the Ladies around the cars.
Then there is our Christmas Dinner which many have yet to sign up to so we need
to get some numbers into the White Horse.
Then February your RO has been give the responsibility of a new Show for the
TVRCC.
The ExCel Classic Car show is in its 3rd year.
This year the Club has been given a Stand there where over the 4 days we will
have the Events Transport Unit and 5 TVRs.
I have been seconded into making this happen.
So far I have had fantastic support from the ROs and deputies from 4 regions.
Plus offers of cars and help.
The theme of the TVRCC Stand will be a Celebration of 40 years of open top TVRs
as the 3000s was the first and next year is her 40th Birthday.
So despite the Club Chairman asking me will there be any cars on there past
1978 there will only be one Pre 80s car probably my 3000s unless I can find a
yellow one.
I have been offered so many yellow TVRs a yellow theme has nearly appeared.
So look out for requests for help and we should have a great time there.
Special anniversary items already in the Planning and one Pre 80s item will be
launched at the show.
So come along to ExCel and enjoy a bottle of the Topless Tipple.
