Yes you should be able to do it from Document settings - assuming it is an
Everest narrow gauge, the Rom is greater than 10 and you are using Duxbury 10.6!

Subject: [duxuser] how do I set Duxbury for one sided documents when I want
them to be one sided?

I have a friend with a question that I can't answer. Thanks.

Now, before I take the bus to school, I have a Duxbury question. If I want to
produce single sided braille, is it sufficient to uncheck the interpoint
setting in my document, or must I go into the old Juliet menu and input the
numbers to tell the embosser only do it on one side. I can never remember what
that number is, so I would be happy if I could simply set it in the Duxbury
document.
