I have to edit documents line by line and while arrowing, I am finding these blank areas. Yes, insert-escape works sort of but you have to do it a lot and even that seems to throw jaws out of focus. This will put you into a new browser window and sometimes the missing text is back again. I had a very bad time of it in 4.02 with NoteTab and to a leser degree with Word. I haven't spent a lot of time with 4.5 yet to see if it has improved. Hitting Insert-Escape gives temporary relief when it does happen.
