I am giving this answer, without full information. I assume when you say a <box> code you are talking about a style that comes up in the style list when you press F8. A style is made up of a number of codes, which can be seen if you choose Modify Style from the Document menu. Assuming you are using the American Textbook stylesheet, within the <box> style are the codes [kps] and [kpe] at the beginning and end, which will in effect keep everything in the box on the same braille page, which explains why you are probably getting it forced onto the next braille page. If this doesn't answer your query, repost it stating which stylesheet you are using (if it is one of those supplied by DBT). If it is a custom styesheet you need to give us the codes which can be seen within the <box> style. If my answer explains why you have the problem, to solve it you need to to either modify the <box> style to remove the [kps] and [kpe] codes or my PREFERRED option, create a new style based on the <box> style without the [kps], [kpe] codes. You will then have to save your styesheet to keep these changes permanent. Good Luck. Good morning all, When using the <box> code, how does one get it to stop forcing material to the next page? In other words I have a document that the last line of text stops on line 12 of the page before I enter the box code, but once I enter the code all the rest of my text is forced to the next page. If anyone has a salution for this problem I would be greatful for your answers Best regards, Lisa Heberger Alternative Media Center Braille Specialist mailto:lisa.e.heberger@xxxxxxx Phone: (804) 916-8862 This message is intended for the addressee named and may contain privileged information or confidential information or both.
